Members of Central Storybook Village Day Care staff use positive methods of discipline, which encourage self-control, self-direction, self-esteem, and cooperation among the children. Time out will be used as a last resort.
Staff members are not permitted to use any type of physical punishment. Restraint may be used when necessary, based on the child's development, only to prevent the child from harming himself or other children.
Criteria For Dismissal:
- Causing harm to other children or adults.
- Failure to pay tuition fees.
- Repeated toileting problems.
- A parent who habitually violates Center rules and regulations
