Welcome
Central Storybook Village is a Christian day care center for ages 6 weeks to 12 years, geared to give your child the best care possible when parents need to work. The center provides opportunities for growth and development through a child-centered program. We are open Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and are licensed though the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare.
Mission Statement
Central Storybook Village Child Development Center was founded and is dedicated to provide the residents of Washington County with a safe, warm, loving, coordinated learning center for their children.
The mission of Central Storybook Village Child Development Center is to minister to the spiritual, academic, physical, social, and emotional needs of our children and their families,
The staff at Storybook Village are educated, experienced, and screened before they join our team. Every year they receive training in First Aid and C.P.R. and a minimum of six (6) credit hours of training dealing with all aspects of child care.
Financial Aid
Storybook Village I & II Child Development Centers participate is the Child Care Information Services (CCIS) in Washington County. See Director for details.
Tax Credit
Under a Federal tax bill, most families can save 20% of their child's care cost. For more information, details for eligibility, and filling procedures, contact the IRS.

Scheduled Closings
Independence Day (4th of July), Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve or day after Christmas, New Year's Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, and Staff Training Days (Dates to be announced).

Central Christian Academy is not equipped to serve children with severe learning disabilities, special education needs, emotional disorders, or other disorders that might affect the teacher’s ability to operate an effective classroom.
